Why is the speed of my Wi-Fi N router only 54Mbps?

Connection speed is determined by: * the type of router * signal quality * traffic on the network If possible, use a router that supports mixed mode. Set your router to use B/G/N mixed mode, not b/g mode. If your router does not support mixed mode, use N mode only.
