Picture is not displayed in 16:9 format while viewing the program through HDMI in Philips TV

  • Check in the settings menu of the accessory device whether the format is set to 16:9

  • Check in the settings menu of the TV whether PictureFormat is on AutoFormat

  • Some broadcastings are in 16:9 format and display in a different format. The result is that you see black bars on the screen of the TV.

  • Sometimes the picture format settings of the TV cannot compensate for this.
