A Philips is still a Philips, Thank You
In August 2015 I searched to find a kettle not made in PRC. This based on experience. A SMEG made in Italy? A Philips made in the Netherlands? Better check the plate. I found my Czech-made Philips kettle at Claremont Home Appliances and it is far-and-away the best and longest-lasting kettle I have ever owned. I hope it outlasts me which is quite likely - I am now 74 :) Thank You Philips, even though you spun off your home appliances you seem to have maintained the brand integrity.

Best Kettle I have ever owned
I have been using this Kettle for almost 6 years, got it as a wedding present The longest lasting appliance I own Phillips have really good realible products Now I own 9 different Phillips products

Has awesome features
Been using my kettle every single day, several (alot) times a day,for 5 years! and it hasn't once given me problems. I love it! Has some cool features and super easy to use. I literally depend on my kettle everyday and Philips hasn't disappointed.
