My Philips Espresso Machine displays "Empty ground container" when it is already empty

If your Philips Espresso Machine indicates that you should empty the grounds container when it is already empty, the coffee grounds counter needs to be reset. Read below to find out how to reset it.

Wait approximately 5 seconds before placing the coffee grounds container back into the machine. This way the coffee grounds counter will reset to zero.
Turn your Philips Espresso machine ON first, then empty the coffee grounds container. This will allow the machine to reset the coffee grounds counter.
