PowerLifeSteam iron

We have been using this iron for nearly 2 years now, averaging on 3-4 times use per week. Sundays are generally its most-used days with ironing kids uniforms. The iron is still going solid! It has a good weight and irons well. We do need to use the misting from time to time and apply extra pressure or ironing time with some items, but that is to be expected with linen. We have not been using the cleaning function regularly as we should, but the iron is still working great and does not spit out dirt/residue like I see some irons do.

glides over clothes so easily and gets out those creases and wrinkles with ease. Lightweight and continuous steam feature is iconic. It gets to temperature pretty quickly so no waiting around so long and I love the little add on cord holder, wish I’d had one years ago! All in all very pleased with this iron, I can certainly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The iron is easy to use. The surface area is larger than my previous iron so that makes the job easier and faster. Seems to get rid of creases quite quickly without having to go over them loads of times. I found the settings quite clear and easy to change. Also easy to fill with water.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iron is, quite simply, great. I iron a fair bit throughout the week and this has made my life much easier. It takes half the time now. Instead of going over creases multiple times like I used to, a quick once over with this and my shirts are crease free. The iron itself is easy to use. The cap to fill up is sufficiently large and so is the water storage capacity(320ml). The smoothness of the soleplate, plus being relatively light weight, makes it glide very easily across the board with little effort. The continuous steam boost is great for tackling those extra tough creases but I haven't had to use it much at all. The handle has a great texture to ensure maximum grip too but can be a little uncomfortable after prolonged use. Perhaps a softer, rubber type material could be used for that extra comfort in the future. The look and feel of the iron is modern and sturdy. I imagine I'll get many years out of this. And who would have thought a cord guide would be so useful? A nice little addition to the whole package. Very impressed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having never used a Philips iron before I was delighted to have the opportunity to test this steam iron. Firstly, it is very modern in appearance and very ergonomic. The iron was easy to set up following the instruction booklet supplied. It was extremely easy to use and produced a sufficient amount of steam. It glides over clothes with ease removing all creases easily. There is an automatic temperature setting which is very useful. The de-scale feature is really handy although I didn't require to use it. In summary, this iron is brilliant and I was able to get through my pile of laundry quickly and with ease. Its the best iron I have used to date and and I would highly recommend it to others.
