Your Home Theater System (HTS) comes with an 'AUDIO IN-AUX' connection. This is an analog audio connection. There are 3 ways to connect your HTS to a TV via the 'AUDIO IN-AUX' connection: * Connect the audio cable from the 'Analog Audio Out' connection of the TV to the 'AUDIO IN-AUX' of your HTS * Connect the audio cable from the 'DIGITAL AUDIO OUT' connection of the TV to the 'AUDIO IN-AUX' of your HTS In order to connect the digital audio out (coax) from the TV to your HTS, you will need a Digital-to-analog converter (DAC or D-to-A). Make sure that the converter supports the conversion of both LPCM (Linear Pulse Code Modulation) and AC3 (Dolby Digital) audio format. If you are unsure whether or not a particular converter is suitable, consult your retailer. * Connect the headphone outlet from the TV (3.5 mm to analog audio) to the 'AUDIO IN-AUX' of your HTS Press the 'AUDIO SOURCE' on the remote control to select the audio output of your connection. NOTE: Your HTS DOES NOT have a digital audio input (SPDIF Digital/Optical input) connection. * For TV setup, please refer to your TV user manual * Your HTS DOES NOT support HDMI ARC
