The Future Health Index is commissioned by Philips The Future Health Index 2025 report includes insights from healthcare professionals and patients in South Africa as part of a broader global study conducted across 16 countries. A total of 1,926 healthcare professionals and 16,144 patients aged 18 and older participated in online surveys conducted by Accenture Song between December 2024 and April 2025, using a computer-assisted web interviewing (CAWI) methodology. The South African findings explore how artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual care are being adopted to address long-standing challenges in healthcare delivery and improve access, efficiency, and outcomes.
