Philips South Africa (Proprietary) Limited recognizes an individual’s constitutional right to access records and information held by private and public bodies. The Company, in accordance with the Promotion of Access to Information Act No 2 of 2000 has formulated a "Promotion of Access to Information Manual".
This Manual sets out which information/documents are kept and what the company is not prepared to voluntarily disclose. It also defines the process concerning applications to access the records and any grounds for refusal.
