Troubleshooting

My Philips iron causes a power failure on mains

If your Philips iron causes power failure, find out here what you can do to solve the issue.

The iron causes the power to go off

Step 1: Check if the connection to the mains is loose or if there are too many appliances connected to the same outlet. The failure could be caused by over current in your mains power.

Step 2: Check the iron's power cord for visible signs of damage. If no damage is visible, unplug the other appliances and switch it on again.

Step 3: If the household power goes off again, please contact a Philips representative for assistance.
